International Directors comments on Berkhamsted Speakers Club Governance

Dear Club President,
Congratulations! Your club has earned the President's Distinguished Club award for its achievements in the 2010-2011 Toastmasters International Distinguished Club Program.
We appreciate the tremendous effort your club made to achieve this award. Club officers and members worked closely as a team to meet Distinguished Club Program goals. Officers organized and conducted exciting club meetings, made sure all members had plenty of speaking and leadership opportunities and promoted membership growth. Members, in turn, prepared carefully for meeting assignments, earned educational awards and invited friends, relatives and co-workers to meetings to help build membership. Because of everyone's efforts, the club achieved the Toastmasters club mission.
A banner ribbon emblazoned with the designation your club has earned will be sent to you. If any of your club's officers attend the Toastmasters International Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, I invite them to attend the Hall of Fame program on Thursday August 18 at 9 a.m. The 2010-2011 President's Distinguished Clubs are recognized during the Hall of Fame program.
Again, on behalf of Toastmasters International, I congratulate you. We hope your club continues its success and commitment to excellence this year.

On 13/9/2011 at The Quaker Meeting Hall 289 High Street, Berkhamsted HP4 1AJ Berkhamsted Speakers is holding its 13/9 exciting annual Humorous Speech Contest and Table Topics Contests we begin the evening at 8.00pm prompt, will all contestancs be early at 7.40pm for briefing by the Contest Chair Mr Roger Lord DTM. To date we have 5 speeches and 5 topics speeches. This is always a special evening in the years calendar.We are affiliated to Toastmasters International and all the clubs in the world around this time are taking part in their own area's competition
